Man Utd fans says ‘sack the admin’ as club ask SUPPORTERS who will replace injured Jonny Evans

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have been left fuming after the club put out a poll asking who will replace Jonny Evans.

The Northern Irish defender picked up an injury in the Champions League defeat to Copenhagen in Denmark on Wednesday.

This left manager Erik ten Hag with a selection headache ahead of the Premier League tie with Luton Town at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman only had Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane left to pick from in order to play alongside Harry Maguire.

The club put out a poll asking fans for their opinion on who will start against the Hatters.

However, supporters were left fuming by the poll as they flooded the comment section.

One fan commented: “This is disgraceful?!! Sack this admin.”

A second wrote: “Why are you asking us?”

A third posted: “ETH will choose from the results of this poll?”

A fourth joked: “None of my concerns. Coach is there.”

A fifth said: “When did the official page start asking this.”

While another added: “This poll should tell a lot about current coach.”

The poll ended with Varane receiving the most votes, however, manager Erik ten Hag opted to go with Lindelof.

United were also without defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The full-back was confirmed to be ill ahead of the league clash in another blow as he had only recently made his return from injury.

Ten Hag told MUTV: “Aaron is ill and so we had to change.

“It is what it is, we have to do it more often but they know the principles and rules. We worked on the co-operation and that is clear, now they have to bring it on the pitch.”
