Diaz stood waiting in acres of space and volleyed the ball home with an acrobatic effort.
Man Utd fans slammed their side’s defensive setup from the set-piece.
One said: “Not a single United player was marking Diaz. Absolute shambles.”
Another added: “Well done United. Can’t even defend a simple corner.”

A fourth fumed: “Diaz had the entirety of Manchester in space there.”
The anger continued: “Diaz sat there in ten yards of space in the six- yard box.”

Another supporter commented: “Sunday league defending.”
Commentators Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher highlighted that Kobbie Mainoo seemed confused as to who he should be marking in the box, which allowed Diaz to run free.
And Roy Keane added: “The player’s aren’t taking responsibility.
Set pieces you have to be switched on.”
Liverpool had a several chances in the first-half as they tore apart Man Utd’s defence time and time again after a strong start to the clash from Erik ten Hag‘s side.
Liverpool had 15 shots in the opening 45 minutes and the Red Devils had zero attempts.
It led to Neville saying it would be “a positive” if his former club got to the break at just 1-0 down, which they did.
Keane ranted: “After 5-10 minutes Liverpool got control of it and should have be 2-3 up.
“They’ve let United off the hook at this moment in time.
“They’ve got to take these chances or they may regret it at the end of the season. The game is there for the taking.
“United have been so average in every aspect of the game.”
But incredible goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo put the Red Devils 2-1 ahead.
But Mo Salah equalised from the penalty spot to make it 2-2 and the points were shared.
Arsenal are now top of the league – ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.
