ROY KEANE, somewhat predictably, is not particularly enthusiastic about Valentine’s Day.
When it comes to being football’s Mr Angry, the Man Utd icon has given his best audition again.
Love or hate Valentine’s Day, you can’t escape it! Well unless you happen to be Keane.
On the recent Stick to Football podcast brought to you by Sky Bet, Jill Scott decided to give her fellow panellists a belated Valentine’s cake.
While Keane was first to dig into the sweet treat from the ex-Lioness he bluntly expressed his disinterest in the holiday of love.
Scott asked: “Are you into Valentine’s Day?”
Keane was quick to reply and said: “No. It’s overrated.”
The Irish icon has been married to his beloved Theresa Doyle since 1997.
But his dry sense of humour has had fans creasing up in the past after he jokingly said he “never” speaks to his wife for more than five minutes.
This was in response to him saying he never gives opposition players more than five minutes of his time after a game.

Hilariously, Keane also cropped Theresa out of an Instagram post, wishing her “Happy birthday to my first wife x”.
Keane rarely opens up about his private life and jokes aside cares a lot for his wife.
In the early 2000s during an interview with the Sunday Times, he opened up that Theresa “has been a rock in my life.”
He continued: “I wouldn’t say Theresa likes every part of the package. She knows I haven’t got a halo over my head.
“Actually, that’s what she likes about me. She also knows I am not the nastiest person in the world.”
