MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly trying to poach teen sensation Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal.
The promising striker is viewed as one of the brightest talents in England.
Chido Obi-Martin is reportedly wanted by Manchester United[/caption]The 16-year-old caught the attention after he scored TEN goals in a single youth game against Liverpool last season.
But The Athletic now report Obi-Martin could be on his way out of Arsenal in a huge blow to the Gunners.
It is claimed that the young attacker has rejected a contract last season’s Premier League runners up thought was “fair”.
And Man Utd are now ready to pounce with the Red Devils “exploring” a deal for the wonderkid following the expiry of his schoolboy terms in North London.
Obi-Martin will be able to cut ties with Arsenal once he reaches his 17th birthday, on November 29.
However, United are not the only club interested in a swoop for the highly-rating starlet.
But the report insists neighbours Manchester City are NOT among the chasing pack.
The striker joined other Gunners back in 2022 after playing for Danish side KB.

Since his arrival, he has impressed for the Gunners’ youth sides.
His high-point came in a 14-3 Under-16s win over Liverpool in which he scored ten goals in November 2023.
That performance was not just a flash in the pan as he also scored four against both Crystal Palace and Fulham.
And he’s done it at under-18s level too, with 29 goals in 17 league matches.
That included five against West Ham and seven in one game vs Norwich.
Obi-Martin has represented Denmark at the 2024 Uefa European Under-17s Championships qualification campaign.
At the group stages he scored twice in three games.
