AMAD DIALLO was sent off just seconds after scoring Man Utd’s winning goal against Liverpool.

The Ivorian slotted the ball home in stoppage time in extra time to give the Red Devils a famous 4-3 victory over their fierce rivals and send Old Trafford wild.

But emotions got the better of the winger, 21, as he removed his shirt to celebrate with the fans.

And having been booked five minutes earlier, referee John Brooks had no choice but to show him a second yellow card.

Scott McTominay gave the Red Devils an early lead but Liverpool struck twice on the stroke of half time through Mo Salah and Alexis Mac Allister to go into the break with a 2-1 lead.

£86m man Antony was an unlikely hero for Man Utd as he netted his second goal of the season to fire in an equaliser in the 87th minute.

Interestingly, both the Brazilian’s goals this term have come in the FA Cup.

Liverpool looked like they were back on course for victory when Harvey Elliott scored a deflected goal in extra time.

But Marcus Rashford equalised before Diallo stole the show at the death.

After Diallo’s goal, he was seen being escorted down the tunnel by Man Utd’s security and not quite knowing how to react.

On his red card, the former Atalanta man said: “I forgot the first yellow, so I am very disappointed for that red card.

“But the most important thing for me is to win, and to do it against a big team like Liverpool is a dream… a big, big moment for me.”

As a result of his dismissal, Diallo will serve a suspension.

However, he will NOT be banned from Man Utd’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry.

Instead, he will miss Man Utd’s next game at Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, March 30.

In the other semi-final, Chelsea will take on last year’s winners Manchester City.
