FENERBAHCE could snap-up TWO Manchester United stars after they were allegedly offered the chance to sign Anthony Martial.

The injury-prone French striker, 27, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford.

He has endured an up-and-down time of it at the Red Devils since his arrival from Monaco in 2015.

Having endured an unsuccessful loan to Sevilla in 2020/21, where he scored just once in 12 games, he returned to United and scored nine goals last season in 29 appearances.

But following the £72m signing of Danish forward Ramsus Hojlund from Atalanta, he knows his game time will be limited again this term.

Martial is one of a number of players that boss Erik ten Hag is willing to offload this summer in order to free up space in his squad and financially for new additions.

And Turkish journalist Sercan Hamzaoglu has now claimed that Fenerbahce have been given the opportunity to take the ace off United’s hands.

He tweeted that the star’s representative, Erkan Sulejmani, informed the Turkish club that they could get him “free of charge”.

And he also added that Martial wanted a three-year contract worth around £83,000-a-week with a £3.46m signing on fee.

That comes after Fenerbahce submitted an official £13m bid to United for their Brazilian midfielder Fred.

United value the 30-year-old slightly higher than £13m, but they will be happy to get things moving with the end of the transfer window nearing.

Fenerbahce looked to have got ahead of Fulham who were the first to express interest.

The West London side have reportedly restarted talks with United after a first bid was rejected earlier this summer.

Ten Hag will want to cash in on Fred to help fund new arrivals.

West Ham have recently agreed a £30m fee for United and England centre-back Harry Maguire.

United could combine these funds and finally bid for their top midfield target this summer Sofyan Amrabat.
