And, after playing 79 minutes of United’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday lunchtime, Maguire took the chance to unwind with some Bank Holiday family fun.

Maguire, 31, shocked holidaygoers on Sunday evening as he swapped the football pitch for a bingo hall at the park alongside his brother, 27-year-old Laurence, and wife, Fern.

Holidaymaker Jenny Holt first spotted Maguire’s younger brother, a star for MK Dons, at the Haven Presthaven resort in Prestatyn, north Wales, before the Three Lions star turned up too.

She told What’s The Jam: “We were offered free drinks all around, which we found strange, thinking it was just a special birthday or something until we saw what looked like Harry Maguire’s family.

“We originally were aware of some VIP guests when we were approached by Haven staff and asked if we could move our seats during the evening entertainment, as the ones we were sat at were reserved.

“Unbeknown to us, for the Maguire family.”

The following day, Jenny, 32, and her son Laylan, 10, and daughter, Emily, 15, were starstruck.

She said: “At around 8:30pm Harry Maguire strolled into the live lounge at Haven with security.

“Everyone was starstruck. Kids were jumping up and down with excitement and the whole atmosphere changed.

“My children and my friend’s son were ecstatic as they are huge Manchester United fans, with Maguire being our favourite player. We just could not believe our eyes.

“Harry Maguire was at Haven, enjoying bingo and the evening show.

“There was a group of kids waiting excitedly behind him for the chance of a photo and were asked by security to wait respectively so he could enjoy the show.”

Maguire was then pictured signing shirts for his adoring fans.

Staying at the park costs from £82 per night.

What we know about the 'new' Old Trafford

MANCHESTER UNITED plan to build a new stadium rather than redevelop Old Trafford.

The decision was made after a number of fact-finding missions to other stadiums including the Bernabeu and Nou Camp.

The cost of the project is expected to be a staggering £2billion.

A capacity of 100,000 is expected.

It is felt that a club of United’s standing should have a new state-of-the-art facility.

The new stadium will be built on land adjacent to the Red Devils’ current home.

United are looking to not only build a stadium but regenerate the area of Trafford where the ground will stand.

They plan to KEEP Old Trafford rather than demolish it, and use it as a second venue.

They will scale it down to a 30,000-seater that can then be used for the women’s team and academy matches.

That would mean the history remains with statues and the Munich clock and memorial plaque all most likely staying in their current positions.

The club consulted with 30,000 fans about what to do and believe there is roughly a 50-50 split on staying or moving.

Old Trafford has been United’s home since 1910.

The target is for completion by 2030.
