Scouts are currently travelling across Europe to hold talks with some of the world’s biggest clubs.

Football director John Murtough and director of football negotiations Matt Hargreaves had lunch with Barcelona sporting director Deco in Spain on Monday.

That was followed by a meeting with Atletico Madrid representatives on Tuesday.

Murtough and Hargreaves are also set to meet with Real Madrid officials.

And clubs in Italy and Portugal are also expected to be visited.

As well as potential Old Trafford arrivals, the future of Mason Greenwood was discussed in Spain.
