Man Utd wonderkid Amad Diallo lined up for stunning loan transfer as fans say ‘we’re winning the league’

IPSWICH TOWN fans are in line to make a sensational transfer swoop for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo.

Diallo picked up an injury for United during pre-season[/caption]

The winger scored 14 and assisted four times during his stay with the Black Cats.

Many expected him to play a role in the United squad this year but he suffered a serious knee injury during pre-season which has seen him only recently return to training.

That means he needs minutes in the legs and high-flying Ipswich are reportedly willing to offer him the chance to return to first-team football with a loan move.

The Mirror report that Ipswich are looking at Diallo after an injury to George Hirst and the end of Dane Scarlett‘s loan from Tottenham.

Southampton are also set to rival the Tractor Boys to the signing of Diallo with the club sitting third in the table, five points off Kieran McKenna’s side.

Ipswich fans were delighted with the news that they may sign the United winger on X.

One fan posted: “Don’t want to get my hopes up too much, but if we get Diallo and Stansfield as well as another defender we’re winning the league.”

Another posted: “Real possibility this, step up from Sunderland last year and United will know how much Diallo could improve under Mckenna.”

Some United fans were reluctant to let the winger go on their end as well.

One fan posted: “And we will continue with Antony? ETH is a joke if they let this happen.”

Another wrote: “They can have Antony instead.”
