A MANCHESTER UNITED prodigy who made their senior debut aged 15 looks set for a transfer deadline day exit.

Norwegian youth star Isak Hansen-Aaroen arrived at Old Trafford four years ago amid much expectation.

The midfielder, 19, had come through the ranks in his homeland at Tromso.

And he made his debut for them back in July 2020 – becoming the youngest player in the club’s history at the age of 15 years and 323 days.

Liverpool and Everton had previously had him on trial but United won the chase to bring him to England but he is yet to make the step-up.

The Red Devils have been involved in a contract stand-off with Hansen-Aaroen over recent months.

His deal expires in June but they wanted him to pen a new package until 2028.

But the player is not convinced that he has a clear pathway into the United first-team.

That sparked huge interest in the player, with Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Napoli all linked with him.

Now journalist Arilas Ould-Saada have claimed that it is Werder Bremen who have won the chase to sign him.

They have reported that United will sell him to the German club.

The plan is allegedly for the ace to travel today and undergo a medical before the transfer window closes.

United would have been entitled to compensation if Hansen-Aaroen had left in the summer on a free.

But now they look set to cash in and get a higher fee by flogging him now.
