According to football.london, Olise would favour a switch to Man Utd over joining Chelsea.

The 22-year-old almost joined the Blues in the summer when they activated his £35million release clause, but instead he signed a new deal at Selhurt Park.

The French U21 penned a four-year contract with the Eagles, but is understood to have a new release clause inserted into the fresh terms.

It isn’t known how much the new clause is set at, but it said to be significantly higher than his previous £35million price tag.

Man Utd are now reportedly keen on making a move for Olise in the summer, which is when his updated release clause becomes active.

The former Chelsea academy product has five goals and one assist in just nine Premier League appearances this season.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal have previously been linked with moves for the London-born star, but it would appear it is Chelsea and Man Utd who lead the way in the transfer battle.

Olise is said to be a life-long Man Utd fan and would fancy a move to Old Trafford should Erik ten Hag come knocking.

The Red Devils have struggled in front of goal this season with Scott McTominay currently the club’s top scorer in the league with five goals.

While Chelsea have been snapping up as much young talent as they possibly can since the Todd Boehly takeover and may add Olise to their already inflated squad.
