MIKE TYSON revealed he used to blow through $5MILLION in just a couple of days during his superstar prime.

Iron Mike – still one of the most celebrated fighters of all time – was once the highest-paid boxer in the world.

Tyson is believed to have earned over £200m during his career – and knew how to spend it.

He told Jimmy Kimmel: “Five million dollars might go in a couple of days, yeah. I’m a big spender.

“No, not now but when I was a young kid $5million might go in a couple of days.”

Asked if he regretted it, Tyson hit back: “Never! I had such a great time.”

Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time aged just 20 when he knocked out Trevor Berbick in 1986.

And he was boxing’s biggest pay-per-view star during the late 1980s and 1990s, making upwards of £20m a fight.

But his career took a decline heading into the new millennium and by 2003, Tyson filed for bankruptcy with debts of £17m.

He retired in 2005 following two dismal defeats and financial struggles.

But in retirement, Tyson recouped his wealth with celebrity appearances, movie roles and partnerships.

He even became a cannabis mogul with earnings of around £500,000-per-month through marijuana products he sells.

Tyson did make a shock boxing comeback in 2020 for an exhibition with fellow great Roy Jones Jr, which ended in a draw.

And now – four years after the glorified sparring session with Jones – the heavyweight icon is back again.

He is due to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on November 15 in Texas in a clash that has attracted controversy due to the age gap.

Tyson, 58, sparked further health fears after pulling out of the initial July 20 date when he suffered an ulcer flare up in his stomach.

But he has been declared medically fit to fight Paul, 27, who has ten wins and one loss on his boxing record.

Both will be subjected to drug testing and Tyson will also have to undertake additional brain and heart tests due to his age.

It will be a professionally sanctioned bout – Tyson’s first in almost 15 YEARS – with records officially on the line.

And both are expected to split a huge $80m (£60m) prize pot down the middle in what will also mark Netflix’s first move into live boxing.
