MMA star Tim Wilde suffered a brutal knockout at the hands of Manoel Sousa at Bellator Belfast.
The lightweight pair met in the Northern Irish capital in a bout that promised to bring fireworks.
Sousa scored the KO on Bellator Belfast[/caption]And it lived up to the billing after Sousa landed a sensational left hand with only ten seconds remaning in the opening round.
The referee was quick to jump in and prevent any further damage with Sousa earning a walk-off KO – leaving fans stunned.
One said: “A face plant KO from Manoel Sousa to kickoff the @BellatorMMA Main Card Another KO of the Year Candidate tonight.”
Another added: “Had bro SPINNING.”

The Professional Fighters League in 2023 acquired Bellator and the two former rivalling promotions merged this year.
And the PFL decided to keep the Bellator brand alive for eight shows a year as part of a newly-formed Champions Series.

The inaugural event kicked off in Belfast but returns on May 17 in Paris with Usman Nurmagomedov defending his lightweight belt against Alexander Shabliy.
