Ex-PREMIER LEAGUE star Mido has claimed fellow Egyptian Mohamed Salah will play in Saudi Arabia next season – insisting contracts have been signed.

Liverpool icon Salah was the subject of a record £150million bid from Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad last summer.

The striker, 31, stayed put and has since helped Jurgen Klopp‘s side push for a potential Quadruple.

Salah has been at Anfield since 2017, and is under contract until 2025.

But former Tottenham ace Mido is convinced a deal has already been done for the Egypt captain to move to the Middle East this summer.

Now a broadcaster and pundit, 41-year-old Mido did not specify Salah’s future club.

But Al-Ittihad are expected to invest massively after falling 22 points behind current league leaders Al-Hilal.

They raided Liverpool for Fabinho in a £40m deal last summer – in addition to signing superstars Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante.

Mido wrote on X: “Mohamed Salah will be in the Saudi League next season.

“Contracts have been signed.”

Klopp signed the Egyptian talisman from Roma in a £43m deal seven years ago.

Fellow star and Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said he would wait until a new boss has been announced before deciding on whether he would stay at Liverpool for the upcoming years last month.
