In the video, seemingly taken by the man’s friends outside of the train window, the fan can be seen in the reflection of the mirror.
And despite their predicament in being trapped, the fan appears to see the funny side of the ordeal with video showing them to be smirking.
The fan would be gutted to have missed the game as well, owing to Russell Martin’s side running out 3-1 victors.
Reacting to the clip on social media, one fan said: “Tough away day for the lad.”
A second said: “Honestly one of my fears this Always try hold it till we get off if I can.”
A third said: “Omg.”
Another said: “That’s why you never use the train or air plane toilets .”
