Darts talent is apparently in the Whitlock family’s genes.

Aussie star Simon now 55-years-old has had a glittering career in the sport winning the 2012 European Championship and 2022 World Cup of Darts for Australia with Damon Heta.

And now his son Mason will compete in the MODUS Super Series which is known as a great tournament to see some of the best darters currently without a PDC Tour Card.

This will be the youngster’s first time he can show his dad is not the only one who can throw a 180.

Mason Whitlock has been playing on the PDC Development Tour since late 2021.

There, the 20-year-old darter seems to be slowly maturing.

In his first 22 tournaments, Mason made it to the last 64 twice and earned just 100 pounds in prize money.

At the last nine tournaments, however, Mason earned 825 pounds by reaching the last 32 three times.
