NAOYA INOUE has successfully defended his undisputed super-bantamweight world title against TJ Doheny.

The Japanese superstar was victorious via TKO in the seventh round after the fight was waved off due to the Irish southpaw picking up a suspected back injury.

Inoue is unbeaten in all of his 28 bouts and has knocked out his last nine opponents.
