WEST HAM could shortly be on the search for a new manager to replace David Moyes, reports claim.

Should that materialise, Paddy Power reckon Graham Potter is the man to take over the Hammers’ hot seat.

Tensions have risen at the club despite their incredible Europa Conference League success at the end of last season.

They lost their captain Declan Rice to Arsenal but managed to rake in around £105million in doing so.

So far, they’ve failed in their pursuit to replace him, with Moyes keen to add Premier League experience in Scott McTominay or James Ward-Prowse.

Harry Maguire is another target of Moyes’ that the club have failed to land this summer, with the club yet to spend a single penny of that Rice fee.

New technical director Tim Steidten is looking to take the club in a different direction which has lead to the current stalemate, which Moyes could be set to walk away from.

Reports say that could happen shortly – perhaps even before next weekend’s Premier League opener – leading to the Hammers needing a quickfire replacement.

And Potter is the 5/2 favourite with Paddy Power to be that replacement.

He’s been out of work since his Chelsea sacking in April, after 11 defeats from his 31 games in charge at the Bridge.

Potter has been linked with several top flight and Championship roles since that dismissal, though could be tempted by a Premier League job in London.

Xabi Alonso (5/1) has been well-backed since the market opened (opened around 8/1) and is now into second favourite.

West Ham supporter Will Still comes next at 13/2, with the Reims boss admitting his dream would be to manage the club.

Middlesbrough boss and ex-Hammers youth star Michael Carrick follows in the betting, with Paulo Fonseca next at 10/1.

Sean Dyche rounds off the betting at 12/1.
