Nick Kyrgios hints at huge career change after announcing on OnlyFans that he’s pulled out of Australian Open

NICK KYRGIOS has hinted he could swap the court for the commentary booth.

The tennis ace teased the potential career change after pulling out of the Australian Open due to a wrist injury.

Kyrgios had hoped to appear at his home Grand Slam after struggling for fitness this year but has now confirmed he will not take part.

He could instead appear as a commentator during the tournament, though, after telling his fans he will “be around”.

Speaking in a video shared to OnlyFans, he explained: “Even though I won’t be there competing this year at the AO, I still will be around, commentating matches, being around, I’ve got some special things planned, so please be excited still.

“You know I’ll be there and hopefully see all the fans, I’ll see you there.”

Kyrgios joined the platform earlier this month, promising to share his “intimate side” with fans.

He also broke the “heartbreaking” news that he will miss the Australian Open for the second year in a row.

The tournament is set to get underway in Melbourne on January 14 and run through until January 28.

Kyrgios’ best singles performance remains reaching the quarter-finals in 2015, although he did win the men’s doubles in 2022.

Injuries have hampered the 28-year-old this year, with his fitness woes limiting him to just one professional game.

His lack of action has also seen the former world number 13 lose his place in the ATP rankings.

Kyrgios, who has also undergone knee surgery this year, told fans: “I just want to really get back to playing at the top of my game and doing it right and I need a little more time.”
