Nottingham Forest warned by Fulham council over LITTERING after owner’s ticket was found in a bush

NOTTINGHAM FOREST’S woes are piling up – following a litter warning from Fulham’s local council.

A security lanyard belonging to Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was hurled into a bush outside Craven Cottage on Wednesday after the Midlands club was trashed 5-0.

Shipping tycoon Marinakis was spotted leaving the ground early in frustration at his team’s terrible performance.

The I.D was discovered later that evening and an image of it posted on social media.

Littering in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham carries an £80 fine if you are caught.

And a council spokesman told SunSport: “We take a dim view of rubbish in Hammersmith & Fulham – on or off the pitch.

“Thanks to the Fulham FC fan who picked it up, helping to keep our streets clean and tidy.”

Under-pressure Forest head coach Steve Cooper admitted his team’s performance was rubbish and apologised to the 2,800 away fans who had travelled to watch.

Two goals from Mexico legend Raul Jimenez, two from midfielder Alex Iwobi and the fifth from Fulham skipper Tom Cairney inflicted Forest’s worst defeat of the season.

Struggling Forest are 16th in the Premier League just four points above the relegation zone, after just one win in the last 11 games.

Despite the result and pressure on Cooper he continues to have the support from the fans.

The travelling supporters continued to sing the Welshman’s name long after the full time whistle at Craven Cottage.

Meanwhile, defenders Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna have reportedly been banished from first-team training.

The two could be in line for January transfers however their exile is not believed to be down to behaviour or discipline.
