Usyk then showcased his hulking physique for his second dance with Fury, posting a flexing post-training snap

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion in nearly 25 years in May with a split-decision victory over Fury.

The former king of the cruiserweight struggled in the early goings but nearly knocked out Fury in the ninth round of the desert dust-up after rattling him with a hellacious left hand.

Fury, 36, was adamant he did enough to win the match and claimed the judges gave Usyk the nod because Ukraine are at “war” with Russia.

He’s refused to retract the comments, saying: “No, I don’t regret anything.

“Why would I regret that? Listen it was a close fight.

“Usyk got the [hand] raised like he just said and he won the fight. Fair play to him.

“[I] don’t make excuses. The man beat me on the night – fair play. I believe I won the fight and that’s my opinion.

“Just like if you had an opinion, he had an opinion and everybody had an opinion.

“But he got his hand raised and I congratulated him. It’s on TV to see.

“I kissed his cross and said thank you very much and happy New Year.

“When we go again, we go again.”
