VIEWERS watching the Olympics closing ceremony were left in fits of laughter after spotting a man chowing down on some food during one of the main performances.

The man took a break from his instrument as the rest of his band mates gave a passionate performance.

He was caught on screen devouring a bowl of noodles with a plastic utensil.

Meanwhile, two musicians played the drums beside him.

One eagle-eyed audience member took to social media after spotting the funny incident.

She wrote: “Shoutout to the guy just casually eating noodles during the orchestra performance in the Closing Ceremony.”

One delighted viewer exclaimed: “This could be the highlight of the evening!”

Another chimed in: “Great spot to watch. Right in action.”
