WE’RE all set for a Glorious week down at beautiful Goodwood.
We have a strong team ready for the next five days and it’s a big meeting for us, probably only behind Royal Ascot in terms of importance.

He ran a tremendous race to finish second in the Gold Cup, when Courage Mon Ami came and did us inside the final furlong.
The drop back to two miles is an obvious plus for our guy, who is an absolute favourite in the yard.
He ran well in the Goodwood Cup last year, when fourth behind Kyprios and Co, and he has been in good nick at home.

He handles cut in the ground, so that’s no issue, but I will leave the tactics up to Oisin. We are very hopeful.
We kick off with the beautifully-bred ARRAY (2.15) in a valuable maiden.
He is from the family of the legendary Frankel and was a fine second on debut at Newbury, so we are hoping he can build on that.
IMPERIAL FIGHTER (2.50) hasn’t been at his best this season so we have stuck a hood on for the first time.
We know he has talent on a going day, but life won’t be easy from a tough draw in stall 15.
SPANISH PHOENIX (3.25) paid the price for trying to go toe to toe with the freak that is City Of Troy at Newmarket.
There isn’t a horse of that calibre in the Vintage field today so it wouldn’t surprise me if he ran well at a price.
I think HOLGUIN (4.00) is also a bit overpriced in the Lennox, for all it’s a red-hot race.
He loves juice in the ground and got his head back in front at Chester last time and he has been working nicely over the last few days.
And we get FLOATING SPIRIT (5.05) back on track for the first time in a couple of months.
She was very disappointing in the Pretty Polly but we’ve always liked her, so we just want her to take a step back in the right direction today.
