A PREDICTED Paris 2024 medal table has revealed France will leapfrog Team GB following Charlotte Dujardin’s withdrawal.
The six-time Olympic medallist, 39, pulled out of the upcoming Paris Olympics this week as a disturbing clip emerged online.
The equestrian star was spotted hitting a horse 25 times in a 60-second clip during a lesson with a nine-year-old female student at her private stables.
Dujardin was in GB’s medal hopes as she aimed to become the nation’s most decorated female Olympian after only needing just one more medal to move past another great, Laura Kenny.
But her title hopes have been crushed and her withdrawal has also meant Team GB are expected to drop in the medal table, according to L’Equipe.
The French outlet predicted the host nation will finish above Great Britain in third place with France accumulating 75 medals including 28 golds, 25 silvers and 22 bronzes.
Meanwhile, Team GB were snubbed to the fourth spot with just 61 medals – 20 golds, 26 silvers and 15 bronzes.
The USA has been forecast to dominate the leaderboard with a total of 114 medals.
However, L’Equipe anticipates they will level with second-place China on gold medals (40).
The Games get underway on Friday, July 26 and run until Sunday, August 11 in the French capital.
