THE World Darts Championship will kick off later this year – with the top 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit amongst the 96 players competing at the huge tournament.
Last year saw Luke Humphries beat teenage sensation Luke Littler in an epic final at Alexandra Palace.
The 2023/24 World Championships was when the 17-year-old began to take the world of darts by storm.
Since then, he has earned himself a spot in Premier League Darts and became a PDC darts professional.
Players on the PDC Order of Merit are also battling to compete at other televised events, including the Betfred World Matchplay and BoyleSports World Grand Prix.
