Taylor, 63, is even open to mentoring Littler but warned he would have to be very hands on.
He said in an interview with Online Darts: “I couldn’t do it like most people do it, I’d have to be hands on.
“Everything would be there for you and I’d be knocking at your door at 10 in the morning.
“Luke wouldn’t be playing on his PlayStation and I could improve Luke one hundred per cent, no trouble.
“I say hundred per cent, when he’s on form I couldn’t make him any better!”
Taylor warned pundits and fans not to write off Littler, who has won the Bahrain Masters and the Belgian Darts Open.
He also claimed his debut win in the Premier League Darts this week and Taylor believes he can go far.

“Some people call it arrogance, it’s nothing to do with that. The lad knows his ability and knows he can do better.
“Anyone who knocks him is an idiot.”
