PIERS MORGAN told Luke Littler he’d “made it” after the presenter’s mum sent him a message about the darts star.
Littler‘s fairytale run to the world championship final ended in disappointment on Wednesday night as he was beaten 7-4 by World No1 Luke Humphries.

And Morgan had some kind words for the teenager in the wake of his loss at Alexandra Palace.
He shared a WhatsApp screenshot of a message from his mum which read: “I cannot believe I am watching the DARTS.”
To which Morgan added: “ Congrats @lukethenukelittler – you’ve made it.”
Littler shared the post on his Instagram story just hours after he came up short in the final.
And he was incredibly gracious in defeat as he took in his remarkable run.
He said: “I have gained a lot of experience.
“A lot of people know me now, they look up to me, I am happy. I am happy with getting to the final.
“It has been a rollercoaster.”
Littler will collect £200,000 for his journey to the final – while winner Humphries will receive £500,000 in prize money.
But the teenager could be set to earn MILLIONS in brand deals after capturing the hearts of the British public.
Sports marketing communications consultant Daniel Tunna estimates that by 2044 — when Luke is 36 — the star could have made up to £40million, factoring in inflation.
