AGENTS are angry with Nottingham Forest over late fee payments.

Forest chiefs have been warned it may lead to further action if not sorted quickly.

Agents are protected legally and can ask the FA to put a transfer embargo in place.

Forest have been busy in the market but agents were still chasing their cash last week.

Steve Cooper made 14 signings in the summer ahead of Forest’s second season back in the Premier League.

His arrivals included a club record £30million deal to bring Ibrahim Sangare to the City Ground from PSV.

However, Forest have lost four of their last five, including Saturday’s defeat to Everton.

The Toffees claimed a 1-0 win thanks to Dwight McNeil’s second half strike.

Forest now sit six points above the relegation zone in 15th place after 14 matches.

A potential transfer embargo would prevent Cooper from bolstering his squad in January.
