He has also ditched his shoulder-length brown locks but still retains an impressive head of hair.

A former Czech Republic international, he made 229 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, Portsmouth and Aston Villa.

His time at Anfield also included plenty of silverware, including the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.

Not guessed the player yet?

It is none other than Patrik Berger, who scored 38 Premier League goals as well as playing for both Borussia Dortmund and Sparta Prague.

Berger had an iconic look during his playing career, with a long brown barnet and hair band making him instantly recognisable.

In recent snaps with his partner Jaroslava, though, he has shown off a new look.

He now has a bushy beard and a striking set of sleeve tattoos on each arm.

Berger wished Jaroslava a happy birthday last month and the couple regularly share loved up snaps on social media.

They have recently included a picture of Berger kissing her cheek and their travels around the Czech Republic.

Since retiring aged 36 in 2010, Berger has become a keen golfer and often attends tournaments.

He has also returned to Anfield to appear in charity matches for Liverpool legends teams.
