THE start of the 2024 Premier League season is just around the corner following the conclusion of the thrilling World Darts Championship.

The Nuke has taken the world of darts by storm in recent weeks following his spectacular tournament debut.

Littler brushed aside some of the sport‘s biggest names, including idol Raymond van Barneveld and 2018 world champion Rob Cross, on his route to the final.

The teenager was even 4-2 up against Humphries in the last two, but the fairytale ending wasn’t to be for the 16-year-old.

Due to Littler’s stunning performance at the World Darts Championship, there have been many calls from fans and fellow pros for him to be included in this year’s Premier League.

Who is in the Premier League Darts line-up?

Defending Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen and new world champion Luke Humphries will automatically qualify via the PDC Order of Merit alongside Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall.

The final four places are filled by pros the PDC and Sky Sports choose to invite to compete – and SunSport has the full 2024 line-up below.

When does the Premier League Darts start?

The 2024 Premier League Darts season will begin in Cardiff on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.

The season will run up until the final in London on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024.

Berlin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Exeter, Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Rotterdam, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Leeds and Sheffield are the other cities that will host Premier League nights in 2024.
