Premier League’s best summer signings revealed as ex-Chelsea star’s value increases by 243 PERCENT after transfer move

THE most profitable Premier League signings of last summer’s transfer window have been revealed.

New signings always bring an air of unknowing, with no guarantees a player will hit the ground running.

However, the data gurus at Punter’s Pub have now revealed which summer signings are the most profitable for their clubs after the first 11 games of the season.

Featuring former Chelsea and Manchester United stars, the list has a number of familiar names.

Starting out with 10th on the list, ex-Man Utd youngster Anthony Elanga has improved his transfer value since moving to Nottingham Forest.

Elanga, 21, has scored one goal and registered three assists for Steve Cooper‘s side since moving to The City Ground for £15.2million.

His performances have seen a small increase of three per cent to bring his current market value to £15.6m.

Fulham star Alex Iwobi is next with an increase of nine per cent since completing a £22.3m switch from Everton to take the former Arsenal star’s value to £24.3m.

Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert comes in next after seeing his value jump 25 per cent to £12.1m – with Bournemouth paying just £9.7m.

Newly-promoted Burnley ace Michael Obafemi comes in next.

The 23-year-old has also seen a 25 per cent rise in his value, going from the £3.5m Vincent Kompany‘s side paid for him to £4.3m.

Blockbuster Chelsea signing Christopher Nkunku has also seen his transfer value increase despite not yet featuring for the Blues due to injury.

The former RB Leipzig star has seen his value jump by 33 per cent to give him a market value of £69.4m – way up from the £52m Chelsea paid.

Luton’s Jacob Brown is next, having been brought from Stoke for £2.5m.

Brown, 25, is now worth £3.4m following a 38 per cent increase in value.

Tottenham star James Maddison is next on the list after a stellar start to life in North London.

Maddison transferred to Spurs from Leicester for £40.1m, but is now worth a cool £60.7m – a 51 per cent spike in his value – after grabbing three goals and laying on five assists in his opening 11 games.

Spurs team-mate Dejan Kulusevski is next after signing for the club on a permanent basis in a £26m deal in the summer.

The winger has enjoyed a 67 per cent rise in his value – to bring it up to £43.4m.

In second place is another Burnley star in Luca Koleosho, who signed for the Clarets for £2.6m and now has a value of £5.2m after a 100 per cent rise.

But coming out on top is ex-Chelsea prodigy Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Having endured a tough few years at Stamford Bridge and away on loan, Hudson-Odoi was snapped up by Forest for just £3m.

And his signing has already paid dividends – including his stunning goal against Burnley.

This has helped his value to increase by a staggering 243 per cent – now worth £10.4m.
