The twin-sisters were invited to judge contestants for the Fashions in the Field competition.

The competition has hundreds of entrants every year.

They enter in the hope of being crowned the “Best Dressed” and “Best Suited”.

It takes place before the start of the horse race, which has been held on the first Tuesday of November since 1876.

Lady Eliza, 31, wore an ankle-length gown that sat off the shoulder.

She completed her outfit with a thin golden headpiece which draped down over her face.

Meanwhile Lady Ameila, also 31, wore a skater-style dress with short sleeves.

She paired it up with red stilettos and a flower headband.
