FANS called the race between Jan Oblak and Brahim Diaz the “funniest thing ever” – with even a player involved in the Madrid derby joining in the hilarious mocking.
Real Madrid triumphed 5-3 over neighbours Atletico in a thrilling and feisty encounter at the Bernabeu last night.

But with just four minutes remaining, ex-Newcastle and Stoke forward Joselu put Real into the lead for just the second time.
As the game entered additional time in, the visitors were awarded a corner, leading to their goalkeeper Oblak joining the attack in one last throw of the dice to grab an equaliser.
The home defence managed to clear the danger from the set-piece for a throw-in, but the Atletico stopper decided to remain in the Real half.
Cesar Azpilicueta took it but his long throw was hoofed away by Joselu – and it left Oblak, 31, deep in trouble.
Despite the Slovenian having a 15-yard head start, former Man City winger Diaz managed to sprint past Oblak to claim the loose ball before taking a touch and rolling it home from around 45 yards out.
The 24-year-old’s goal led to a wild celebration, in which he was booked for removing his shirt, and set-up a final showdown against the winner of tonight’s showdown between Barcelona and Osasuna on Sunday.
But it was not the result that had most people talking afterwards as footage of Diaz’s sixth strike of the campaign soon spread on social media.

While another asked: “Is Oblak that slow or Brahmin Diaz is that fast.”
And even Real Madrid star Rodrygo, who started yesterday’s derby, could not resist joining in the fun afterwards, according to supporters.
He was spotted walking off the pitch talking to Spanish international Diaz before laughing and performing a slow sprinting gesture with his arms amid the on-field celebrations at the final whistle.
A fan shared the below clip and wrote: “Rodrygo copying Brahim’s goal vs Oblak.”
