Racecourses where fans are most likely to cheat on their partners revealed – is yours on the list?

ALMOST one in ten horse racing fans has cheated on a partner at the races — with Royal Ascot favourite for a romp, a poll revealed.

Eight per cent said the going had got firm on a boozy day out at a racecourse.

What race has the most prolific cheaters?

The majority of the love rats — 16 per cent — said they had got hot to trot at Royal Ascot when passions ran high at the summer race meeting in Berkshire in June.

Another 15 per cent hit the hay with a lover at the Cheltenham Festival, while nine per cent admitted to straying at Newcastle.

Punters from Cardiff came in first as most likely to have sex on the course and cheat on their partner with ten per cent admitting doing so.

Next up were Glasgow and Newcastle.

Overall, just 34 per cent of the 2,000 polled by betting site freebets.com said they went for the racing and betting, with 25 per cent enjoying the drinking culture and 12 per cent enjoying getting dressed up.

Only ten per cent said they liked seeing horses racing.

Freebets spokesman Tim Agnew said: “There is a lot going on at race meetings.

“As well as gambling and drinking people are often dressed to impress and it’s easy to see how passions get the better of fans.”
