RASMUS HOJLUND’S brother Emil scored AGAINST Manchester United for FC Copenhagen.

Hojlund and his United team-mates travel to Denmark themselves needing a win to keep their Champions League knockout hopes alive.

But beforehand, the two clubs met in an Under-19 match where the striker’s 18-year-old brother Emil scored.

The forward pulled one back to make it 2-1 from the penalty spot after Ethan Williams and Ethan Joseph Wheatley put United ahead.

So fans demanded £72million man Hojlund return the favour.

One said: “We need Rasmus to score tonight instead.”

Another added: “We need to respond.”

One joked: “Højlund better recreate tonight.”

All three of Hojlund’s goals have come in Europe this season since his move from Atalanta.

Heading into the away trip to his former side Copenhagen, the Dane received public backing from his manager Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag said: “He has scored already three goals in the Champions League, which is very good for an integration period.

“I think as a team we can be better in possession so we can create more and better chances and that will also give our offensive players more opportunities to score goals.

“What we have to work on is a stable starting XI or at least 12 or 13 players and then the routines will be better and we will create better chances.

“But as I said, social-wise, I think he has integrated very good in the team and in the club.

“From a football perspective, he has already scored three goals in the Champions League which is a very good performance and from hereon he has to take it on and improve.

“That is the character of Rasmus. He wants to improve every day so it is lovely to work with him, with such characters.”
