REAL MADRID have reportedly lined up a ‘Plan B’ transfer if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe next summer.

That’s after releasing a statement denying they are in talks to sign the Paris Saint-Germain ace when his contract expires.

Mbappe, 24, has been a long-term target for Real and came close to joining them in 2022.

The French World Cup winner eventually penned a mega-money extension with PSG.

But that deal expires next summer, and Mbappe has indicated he is finally ready to quit Paris as a free agent.

Reports suggest Real are already deep in talks to sign Mbappe in the summer of 2024.

But they released a statement yesterday denying any contact.

It read: “Given the information recently issued and published by different media outlets, in which there is speculation about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappe and our club.

“Real Madrid CF would like to state that this information is completely false and that no such negotiations have taken place with a player who belongs to PSG.”

Mbappe is sure to have a number of offers next summer, with Liverpool reportedly keen on snapping him up.

And Sport Bild claims that Real are making sure they have a second attacking target should they end up missing out.

It’s reckoned that Bayern Munich ace Jamal Musiala is highly thought of by Carlo Ancelotti.

The ex-Chelsea academy ace, 20, is tied to his German club until 2026.

But he has so far refused to sign a new contract.

Musiala is currently on £7million a year, but wants three times that amount to remain at the Allianz Arena.

Manchester City have also been linked with the playmaker, who will consider his future at the end of the season.

However, Bayern are likely to seek a huge fee for a player who will be just 21 years old next summer.
