Roberto Firmino transfer news – odds: Shock Liverpool return most likely but Fulham in mix

ROBERTO FIRMINO is being lined up for a shock return to the Premier League after his disastrous Saudi move in the summer.

And Sky Bet reckon a Liverpool return is very much on the cards, with the Reds leading the betting to be his next move.

Firmino made the switch just last year when his Reds contract expired, joining Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

It looked a match made in heaven from the start when he banged in a hat trick on debut – but hasn’t registered a single goal in the 18 appearances that have followed.

Firmino scored 111 goals and provided 79 assists in 392 games for Liverpool.

Under Klopp, he helped the English giants win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Club World Cup.

And a reunion at Anfield appears most likely – according to Sky Bet anyway, as they price Liverpool as the 7/2 favourites.

Reports earlier this week hinted Fulham had been offered the chance to sign the Brazilian.

They’re next best at 4/1 as they search for a long-term replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who himself left for the Saudi league in the summer.

Sheffield United were also reportedly keen on Firmino while Paul heckingbottom was in charge.

But they are out at a huge price of 14/1 to sign him.

Arsenal and Crystal Palace are 20/1, with Leicester 25/1.
