ROGER FEDERER took a break from Wimbledon to party with Taylor Swift.
It has been a Cruel Summer with horrendous weather in SW19 throughout the 2024 Championships Fortnight.
Roger Federer revealed he went to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Zurich[/caption] He then shared an epic selfie with the pop star on Instagram[/caption] Federer exchanged friendship bracelets at the gig[/caption]Federer, 42, was on site at the All England Club last week, after his wife was spotted in the stands without the eight-time champion.
But with rain plaguing the last few days, the Swiss superstar found a Blank Space in his busy diary and decided to Shake It Off by heading back to his homeland – and met up with Swift at her gig in Zurich.
Tuesday night’s leg of the epic Eras Tour saw the pop star, 34, take to the stage at the Letzigrund stadium, just over an hour’s drive from Fed’s hometown of Basel.
Federer – who fittingly competed in 22 Wimbledons – shared a snap of his five friendship bracelets on his Instagram story alongside his Rolex watch on his left wrist.
And the tennis great sent sports and music fans alike into a frenzy with his post to his 12.5million followers.
Dapper Federer uploaded the smiling selfie with a beaming Taylor – who appeared to have just come off stage in her sparkling blue dress and iconic red lipstick.
He captioned it: “In my Swiftie era ”
Federer was decked out in a casual shirt and had his VIP lanyard around his neck.

Federer was invited on stage – again in Zurich – to perform Don’t Panic with the massive British rock band, and his performance went down a storm on social media.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion hung up his racquet in emotional scenes in 2022 – with his wife Mirka breaking down in tears during the Amazon Prime Video documentary following the final days of his career.
Mirka made a surprise visit to Wimbledon without her Lover husband last week, instead taking the kids to catch the action between Italians Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini.
Federer has a very special Love Story with the tournament and was on site at the All England Club but was surprisingly not involved in Andy Murray’s tearful tribute ceremony.
There is no Bad Blood between them, thankfully, and SunSport understands Federer met Murray behind the scenes to congratulate the Brit on a phenomenal career.
He then snubbed Alexander Zverev on Centre Court in front of Pep Guardiola to watch Ben Shelton in action on No1 on Saturday before flying back to Switzerland.
Federer is not expected back at Wimbledon during this year’s tournament.
But he knows Novak Djokovic – who got a bye into the semi-finals thanks to Alex De Minaur’s withdrawal through injury – can match his record of eight men’s singles titles on Sunday.
