RONNIE O’SULLIVAN is thinking of sending the crystal Masters trophy to a pal in CHINA.

The Rocket won an unprecedented eighth Masters crown earlier this month as he beat Ali Carter 10-7 in an ill-tempered final in North London.

Over a glittering 22-year professional career, O’Sullivan has won more than 80 events, including 41 ranking tournaments.

And there is simply not enough room in his Chigwell mansion to showcase all of them.

O’Sullivan, 48, said: “If I can keep that one, I’ll send it back to China to one of my mates and let him keep it in his club.

“That’s what I do with most of my trophies now.”

The Crucible King has won two of the three Triple Crown events this season and would earn £1million in prize money – aka the Ronnie Slam – if he gets his hands on the world title in May.

But the world No.1 said: “Money doesn’t motivate me. I don’t play snooker for money.

“I play for pride and because I like to play well – that’s the main thing for me.”

It comes after O’Sullivan revealed he would love to attempt a unique 167 break — if the price is right.

He said: “What’s the prize for a 167? Have they announced it? I’m sure that it will be a hefty prize.

“Listen, the Saudis can just do what they like. They are a powerful outfit.

“Every other sport seems to be doing stuff in Saudi, so it will be great to go out there.”
