Solskjaer discussed his spell as United manager with Keane on the podcast before the pair took to the harbour.

The Norwegian took a selfie as the pair beamed from ear to ear, seemingly on board a boat.

Keane shared the snap on Instagram alongside the caption: “DM us if you’re looking to hire a manager.”

It is the first time the pundit has posted on the platform in almost two years.

Keane, 52, was a frequent poster on Instagram in 2021 but he went dark after early 2022, with his last post a photo of him walking his dogs.

Fans enjoyed his return and his post with Solskjaer racked up 230,000 likes within an hour.

It also attracted plenty of comments with Keane’s followers delighted to see him back, while one compared the photo to a scene from famous British sitcom The Inbetweeners.

One fan reacted saying: “He’s back on IG 🙌😍

Another added: “Selfie of the century 🔥

A third wrote: “Two legends!”

And another commented: “Looks like the boat scene on the Inbetweeners Swanage trip.”

The duo remain close friends from their time playing together at Old Trafford but Keane could not resist poking fun at the ex-striker.

Solskjaer revealed he had spoken to clubs in America about taking over as manager.

Gary Neville then further quizzed the former United boss: “Would you take a job over there?”

To which Solskjaer responded: “Yeah, I think I would.”

Keane quickly cut in and joked: “At Disneyland?” to leave Neville in stitches.
