But Tottenham levelled the score in the 19th minute when Richarlison pounced on a corner to head home.
The Brazilian was free in the box as he hit the top corner of United’s net.
Onana attempted to save it but could not get near the ball.
Yet Keane feels the Cameroon stopper should have done a lot better.
Speaking on Sky Sports during the half-time break, United legend Keane said Onana should not have been stood on his line for Spurs’ set-piece.
He feels the goalie would have been better served by standing further out to “control” his six-yard box.
And Keane added he would have raged at Onana’s decision had he been out there playing.

The no-nonsense Irishman barked: “Set pieces United aren’t great at, they had a warning earlier.
“It was a lovely touch, plenty of bodies and that close to goal any touch is vital.
“I’d be losing it at my goalkeeper, it’s an in-swinger, Spurs deserved it.
“I don’t like where Onana is standing on his line. I’d like him to come and take control of the six-yard box.”
