ROY KEANE mocked Theo Walcott with a cheeky remark after the pundit revealed he was scared of Jurgen Klopp.

The former Arsenal player discussed his meetings with the Liverpool boss during his playing career.

Roy Keane aimed a cheeky dig at Theo WalcottGrab

And he admitted he found one of Klopp’s unusual pre-match rituals intimidating.

Walcott, 35, spoke of seeing fire in Klopp’s eyes when the German would stand on the halfway line and stare at the opposition ahead of kick-off.

Walcott told Sky Sports: “I always used to remember as a player, you’d be warming up and in your routine and suddenly you’d just get eye contact with Jurgen Klopp.

“It’s like fire looking into your eyes, it’s so intimidating.

“He caught me once so I’m sure he would’ve caught many players. I’m sure there’s a reason behind it as well, but he definitely scared me.”

Keane quickly chimed in with a funny put-down of his colleague.

He quipped: “You would’ve been scared of the mascot though, wouldn’t you?”

The pundit pair have calshed on air before with Keane previously labelling Walcott “young and naive” for daring to suggest Arsenal were a bigger club than Manchester United.
