Rashford, 26, celebrated his precise strike by appearing to tell critics that they were talking too much with a gesture with his hand.

However, former Man United star Keane claimed that the forward should be doing more rather than being upset with “everybody”.

He told Sky Sports: “We need to see more, he’s showed it before, he’s got the quality.

“Why does he seem to be upset with everybody, he has got to go and enjoy it, he is playing for Man United.”

Jamie Redknapp agreed with Keane as he insisted that Rashford has not been at his best.

He added: “He’s got no right to be upset, he’s not done the business!”

Man United led Ange Postecoglou‘s side on two occasions at Old Trafford but was pegged back by goals from Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur.

Rasmus Hojlund fired in the opener for the Red Devils with a brilliant strike into the top corner as he bagged his second in the Premier League.

Rashford has failed to reach the levels of performance that he managed last season.

The goal was his fourth in the Premier League this campaign, while he had managed eight goals by the same stage last season.

In total, Rashford bagged 30 goals in all competitions in Erik ten Hag‘s debut season at Man United.

Ten Hag was happy to see both Hojlund and Rashford on the scoresheet and insisted that he wants their progress to continue.

He said: “I hope they keep going with this progress.

“You see they are coming up with routines – that is what you need.

“You need it everywhere but especially in the front line, where there are tight areas and quick decisions have to be made.

“In a split second you need the right decisions, so you need that intuition.”
