SADIO MANE’S wife has broken her silence after marrying the former Premier League star.

Aisha Tamba, who is reportedly 18, has insisted that money and fame will not lead to her forgetting her humble roots.

She told the Daily Mail via a relative: “I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different.

“But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me.

“This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.

“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives.

“I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.

“I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”

The couple tied the knot on January 7 in the suburb of Senegalese capital Dakar.

Mane, 31, won the Premier League and Champions League during his spell with Liverpool.

He now plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr and he reportedly earns £650,000 per week – a huge contrast from the life his partner is supposedly used to.

The Mail claim: “Aisha lives in a shabby part of Dakar in a house with anything up to 30 relatives that is opposite a swamp.

“It is located along an uneven dirt track which has goats running around and is strewn with litter.”

They also state that Mane and his new wife are not going on a honeymoon as Aisha has to finish her studies for a baccalaureate first.
