For his performance alongside Colin Farrell he was also nominated for an Oscar.

The Daily Mail have claimed that his good work on the screen has earned him a spot with Manchester United.

The Irish star will be part of the club’s promotion for the kit ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The report suggests that Keoghan, 31, will have a central spot in the advertising campaign.

Earlier this year, the actor was pictured in a Red Devils tracksuit and has ties to the club on a personal level.

Keoghan is the second cousin of former United striker Frank Stapleton.

Stapleton played 223 league games for the club between 1981 and 1987, scoring 60 goals.

He also starred for the likes of Arsenal, Ajax and Blackburn Rovers during his career.

Like Stapleton, Keoghan had hoped for a career on the pitch before turning to acting.

He was also an amateur boxer and had a sparring session against Fergal McCory.

His popstar girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter has also been pictured wearing a United kit alongside fellow singer Sarah Faith Griffiths.

United’s new kit is expected to be released in July and is set to feature two different shades of red.

There will also be a new front shirt sponsor with Snapdragon replacing TeamViewer.

The tie-up was announced back in September and is claimed to be a three-year deal worth £60million.

The shirt will yet again be made by Adidas with the company set to be the club’s manufacturer until 2035 after a 10-year partnership was agreed.
