JOSH PADLEY will be hoping to shock the world when he goes up against Shakur Stevenson for the undisputed WBC lightweight title.
The 29-year-old has been given a huge call up to fight for the title after Stevenson’s original opponent – Floyd Schofield – pulled out just six days before the huge event.

Stevenson was originally scheduled his fellow American but he had to withdraw from the fight after allegedly been ‘poisoned’.
The controversial claim has seen Stevenson be at the centre of wild allegations of apparently food poisoning and spying on his rival.
Since moving up weight classes two years ago, Stevenson has shown his dominance after winning and defending the WBC World Lightweight title.
He is also the former WBC and WBO World Featherweight champion and now faces Josh Padley on short notice in a fight he is expected to win comfortably.
Padley earned a shot at the title after putting himself on notice with his fantastic victory last year against Mark Chamberlain – who is known as Turki Alalshikh‘s favourite fighter.
The British boxer who is also a part-time electrician, is now taking a huge leap in what is by far the most important fight of his boxing career.
The 29-year-old is coming into this fight as a huge underdog and if he was to win on Saturday night, would be one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.
The last-minute challenger joins a stacked fight bill in Riyadh in what fans are calling one of the greatest boxing cards of all time.
