RANGERS fans appeared to clash with police before today’s Premier Sports Cup match against St Johnstone at Hampden.
The Light Blues are hosting games at the national stadium due to ongoing building works at Ibrox which have been hit by delays.

At around 4.45pm a large group of Rangers ultras approached Hampden via Somerville Drive.
They allegedly spotted someone carrying a St Johnstone drum near the Rangers merchandise stall close to the entrance to the West Stand.
A group of the fans reportedly pointed to the drum and began to shout about getting hold of it, before allegedly running up and violently grabbing it.
It appeared a woman was knocked to the ground during the incident, prompting officers to rush to the scene.
The thugs then appeared to run away with the drum in hand.
Cops armed with batons gave chase as the group dispersed into larger crowds of fans and multiple arrests were made.
Scuffles reportedly broke out and one officer was allegedly knocked to the floor, prompting the officers to demand the mob to get back.
Several fans were warned by police to put their phones away and stop filming.
The woman who was allegedly felled among the melee was a supporter liaison officer for St Johnstone.
She did not want to comment on the incident.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
