United already have a negative goal difference as they sit eighth in the table.

But it’s their home fans at Old Trafford who are truly suffering.

Boffins at Offers.Bet have revealed stats showing that United’s home form is the second-worst in the entire league.

The Red Devils have played six games at the Theatre of Dreams so far this season, winning three and losing three.

In total, fans present have watched United trail across 354 minutes of action.

That makes for an average time per game of 59 minutes.

Only joint-bottom Burnley have a worse record, with Vincent Kompany’s side spending an average of 72 minutes per game at Turf Moor trailing their opponents.

Other relegation candidates like Bournemouth, Luton and Sheffield United make up the rest of the top five.

Man Utd’s struggles at home are plain to see

And it’s painful viewing for United as far as the other end of the table is concerned.

Rivals Man City have the best record in the league, having failed to go behind once at the Etihad this term.

Newcastle are next line after spending just four minutes behind at St James’ Park.

And Liverpool are third after going behind for an average of five minutes per match at Anfield.

Likewise, when it comes to leading matches, United trail their rivals again.

Erik ten Hag’s side are fifth-last after leading for just 53 minutes in total at Old Trafford.

That makes for an average of nine minutes across each of their six matches.

And unsurprisingly, City have the best record, leading for around 78 minutes in their five games at home.
