FANS spotted a major “howler” by Sky Sports in the moments after Chelsea’s emphatic Carabao Cup thrashing of Middlesbrough.
That’s after a screen caption mistakenly introduced Axel Disasi as teammate Noni Madueke.
The Frenchman was on the scoresheet as Chelsea ran riot in a 6-1 win at Stamford Bridge.
The victory saw them overturn the 1-0 first-leg defeat at the Riverside in style.
And Chelsea will now face either Liverpool or Fulham in next month’s final at Wembley.
However, fans felt the game was overshadowed after the final whistle when Disasi appeared live on air to deliver his thoughts.
As the centre-back took to the screen, a prompt flashed up at the bottom revealing his name.
However, instead of saying ‘Axel Disasi’, it instead bore the name of teammate Madueke.
Fans were left stunned by the glaring error.
And they flooded Twitter after the incident occurred.

One said: “This is a howler.”
Another declared: “Sky Sports with a huge mistake.”
One noted: “Sky Sports thinks Disasi is Madueke.”
Another added: “They thought Disasi was Madueke, I’m dead.”
Disasi netted the third goal of the night at Stamford Bridge, hitting the target in the 36th minute.
Before his strike, a 15th minute own-goal from Jonny Howson put Chelsea back on level terms.
And Enzo Fernandez’s 29th minute effort saw the Blues lead the tie for the first time.
With Chelsea 3-1 up, Cole Palmer netted the fourth before half-time and added a fifth goal in the 77th minute.
Madueke made it 6-0 in the 81st minute before Morgan Rogers pulled one back for Boro at the death.
