Beck, 21, could be seen nodding along to what Klopp was saying.

However, fans watching on TV saw the interaction and could not help laughing.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user said: “Beck feared for his life there 😭.”

A second said: “When you sit and watch footy with ya dad.”

A third said: “When the teacher used to go to the back of the room 😂.”

Another said: “McGregor & Ronaldo vibes,” in reference to Conor McGregor chatting to Cristiano Ronaldo ringside of December 23rd’s Boxing blockbuster Day of Reckoning.

A fifth said: “Poor guy has no idea what he on about.”

Meanhwile, Klopp was also compared to Pep Guardiola, who is known for his animated pitchside rants, saying: “Looks like Jurgen and Pep had a fight like how parents do, and Owen is the kid who has to now get the bickering 😂.”

Beck has made two appearances for the senior Liverpool team but did not feature against Fulham.

He may have had his ear chewed off by Klopp even more if the Reds had not already completed their turnaround against Fulham.

Willian initially put Marco Silva‘s side 1-0 up in the first half.

But Curtis Jones‘ deflected strike and Cody Gakpo‘s goal ensured Liverpool emerged 2-1 winners at Anfield.

The second leg at Craven Cottage will commence on January 24.

Before that the Premier League leaders visit Bournemouth on Sunday.
